Huatulco Food & Film Festival

November 2011

In the month of November Huatulco is filled with the colors, tastes, and aromas of the Huatulco Food & Film Festival, where the special guests are the culture of gastronomy and the world of the movies.

The event tries to give an impulse to the cultural values of Mexico and to provide a tourist attraction at this destination.  From the 23rd to the 27th of the month, there will be several film presentations followed by food sampling under the open sky, creating the perfect combination between art and the natural beauty of Huatulco. 

As a special guest, the actress Havana Eva will be present at the inauguration.  The event will touch on topics such as chocolate, Mexican ingredients, great chefs and great restaurants around the world. 

There will also be academic activities related to movies and gastronomy, samples of local and international food, the contest of pre-Columbian food and many other surprises.

In this edition, there will be a blend of the traditionally Mexican and the international avant-garde which without a doubt will captivate all guests and keep them captivated until the next year.

MotoFest Huatulco 2011

Fans of the velocity and adrenaline of motorcycles will get together from November 25 to 27 in the main streets of Huatulco to celebrate the Motofest Huatulco 2011 for the third year in a row.

Initiating with a parade past the main viewpoints, the party is expected to attract more than 800 participants from different  states such as  Jalisco, Guerrero, the Federal District, Mexico State, Puebla, Tabasco, Chiapas and Oaxaca, just to mention a few.

The visitors will be able to have fun at each of the events planned for the MotoFest, which include the Biker Night, competitions, and a rock concert with some special guests. 

This type of activity offers one more alternative to all the tourists who visit Huatulco, thus giving them a scenario which provides entertainment, security, and quality accommodations.
